      1. Making art is problem solving! Visual Arts students use digital and analog tools <\/span>to realize their creative visions, from paintbrushes to 3D printers to digital design programs.             Visual Arts students have a wide range of opportunities to explore art and design outside the studio and classroom:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Study abroad programs led by Visual Arts faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Regular trips to museums and galleries in New York, Philadelphia and <\/span>Washington, D.C.<\/li>\n
            • Visiting artists and other speakers each semester.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Creative collaboration with nonprofit institutions through Design for <\/span>Community Partners, a service-learning course.<\/li>\n
            • Internships in professional design and advertising firms, at museums and <\/span>in artists\u2019 studios.<\/li>\n
            • Student art clubs organize trips, service projects and collaborative art making.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              FACILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Students have access to studios for drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, graphic <\/span>design and computer graphics, a digital fabrication lab, and a photographic darkroom. <\/span>Extended hours allow students to access studios everyday, often with late closing <\/span>times.
