Hi! My name is Jo Tse (Shay) and I am graduating this May 2024 from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. I\u2019m a visual artist and graphic designer driven by a lifelong passion for creativity. While growing up I\u2019ve always been captivated by the world of art as I see it everywhere around me. I have so much joy in expressing myself and sharing my ideas through my creations. I find myself working in all kinds of mediums like drawing, painting, graphic design and photography here and there. Traveling and seeing new places are a big passion of mine so I love to bring the things I see around me into my work. My art reflects my adventures and invites others to experience the world through my eyes.<\/p>\n
Most of my inspiration comes from my Chinese heritage as well as exploring and incorporating other Asian cultures into my work. Representation is still needed in the art community so I strive to bring more of my culture into this world. My style also incorporates a lot of scenery in nature as well as bright colors.\u00a0 <\/span>As an artist, I believe it is all about constant growth and innovation. I go into each project with a commitment of doing my best, and always pushing the boundaries of my abilities to try new things and take on different challenges. Whether it\u2019s mastering a new technique or delving into something unfamiliar, I thrive on the opportunity to expand my skill set and evolve as an artist.<\/p>\n In my exhibition you will find a lot of my digital designs as well as paintings of mine turned into graphic art.
