NEW EXHIBIT COMES TO NYC FEATURING TONS OF BANKSY'S ART
Laugh now, but one day we'll be in charge
A new exhibition is coming to New York City that will feature dozens of pieces of artwork from the renowned street artist Banksy. A series of stenciled Murals will line the walls of the exhibition in TriBeca, showcasing the famous Artist's iconic works.The exhibit will feature over 80 original works of his from sculptures and autographed canvases.
"The art of Banksy is something so universal, so easy to understand,” said Elena Frigenti the gallery manager of the exhibit. “"He literally covered the city and the boroughs of the city with his art... simple art to understand but the meaning is very deep so it's something that stays with you."
The exhibit is Banksy in New York: Defaced’ it commemorates the 10- year anniversary of his month long residency in 2013. It opens on February 16, 2023 and will run into early Spring. Tickets cost $16.50
