Hi, my name is Mia Romeo. I am a graduating senior at Stockton, majoring in Visual Arts with a concentration in Painting. I specialize in abstract expressionism and take a lot of inspiration from painters like Piet Mondrian, Sarah Morris and Garth Weiser. I am also very inspired by nature and topography. My artwork is completely left up to chance by allowing gravity, thickness of paint, and the environment to control the outcome of the piece. Everything is acrylic on wood with additives like marble dust, polyester fiber filling, tissue paper, plaster, and more!
