I’m Matthew Clampffer, a senior BFA student specializing in Visual Communications with a strong passion for graphic design that began in high school. After discovering my interest in design as a sophomore, I continued developing my skills at Brookdale Community College, where I earned my Associate’s Degree in Design before transferring to Stockton University.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Start Monday Media Group, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in both the design and restaurant industries. Under the mentorship of owner and Lead Designer Nick Perry, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to projects for major brands such as Carmines in New York City and The Block in Long Branch and Baseline Social in Fort Monmouth. These experiences have strengthened my creative approach, sharpened my technical skills, and fueled my passion for creating impactful visual work.

My final gallery work brings together my passion for sports design through a dynamic advertising campaign centered around a brand partnership with the FIFA World Cup. This project explores bold visual storytelling, energetic typography, and immersive branding to capture the global excitement of the tournament. By combining strategic design thinking with my love for sports culture, the campaign aims to create a cohesive and impactful identity that resonates with fans of the beautiful game.
