My name is Allison Sullivan and I’m a Visual Arts major with a concentration in Visual Communications. With my degree, I want to get into graphic design, preferably with a design firm, marketing company, or beauty brand. I typically create music and beauty related projects, so working for a brand with one of those passions is my biggest goal. I was an intern at Stockton’s Art Gallery in Fall 2025 and I am currently an intern at Dynamic Advertising and Design, which have been amazing opportunities to grow my skills as someone heading into the professional industry. I love experimenting with typography, textures, layouts, and bold colors. I sometimes make use of photography by incorporating my photos into my designs as well. In the concert posters shown below, I took both of those pictures, which is something I want to do more often. I love adding personal touches to my designs, to show more individuality.
My experience at Stockton University has been a very formative journey. I have built my skills as a designer immensely with the help of my professors and peers. Throughout my time here, there have been pieces of mine shown throughout campus. To name a few, my painting displayed in the Campus Center Coffee House, digital posts sent out in emails and on the Art Gallery Instagram, and my own merch design printed on a shirt for the Girls’ Girl Club. After I graduate in just a couple months, I’m so excited to bring my designs and personal brand to the table and show people what I can do.
