Hi, my name is Angelli Bautista. I am a Visual Communications student, concentrating mainly in Graphic Design. My love for art started from a very early age. I always knew I was creative and wanted to try everything art-related. In high school, I was in a club called Students Helping Honduras. In this club, everyone had the opportunity to create a design for our club apparel. Mine won the overall pick and was the first-ever design to sell out! It was sold in t-shirts, sweaters, crewnecks, sweatpants, and even pins. That’s when I knew I wanted to focus solely on design—designing for products, apparel, posters, logos, anything containing graphics. Upon graduation, I toured Stockton University and fell absolutely in love. Stockton had lots of opportunities for me, and when I found out they had an arts program, I knew I had to join! I have taken classes from a variety of different areas, including web design, 2D/3D design, image and typography, sculpture, illustration, drawing, and painting; you name it, I’ve done it. Ultimately, my heart was already settled on Graphic Design. If it weren’t for my amazing professors, I do not know where I would be. On the side, I also create content on TikTok and have garnered 20,000 followers in doing so. As a first-generation student, I honestly never thought I could afford college, but I joined EOF, and they have been a huge part in my success, along with Residential Life. After graduation, I am looking forward to applying for internships in NYC, slowly start freelancing my own work, and creating more content. Everything I do is for my parents and my grandparents, as they came to the US with nothing, but gave me everything. #soarhigher
