Hi my name is Ryan La and I am a Visual Arts Major with a concentration in Studio Art and an emphasis on Painting. I have always been interested in the arts going back until I was young. Growing up in Galloway, NJ I wasn’t sure if pursuing the arts was possible. When I first came to Stockton University, I was undecided and after the first semester, I found my place in the Arts Department. I’ve enjoyed my time taking the classes, especially my final year. My works I have created during my senior year have been about my personal identity and culture as a Gay Vietnamese American. It’s something I want to pursue creating art around in the future and I am excited for what’s to come!
